Elite 9 showcases elite play at the Boston Breakout

Elite 9 teams kicked off their season at the Boston Breakout this past weekend. They showcased their elite level of play with 7 teams landing in the top 5 in their respective age group. The Boston Breakout is a competitive premier showcase event hosting 300 teams throughout New England rinks preparing the teams for league play.

Congratulations to the 2012 Junior Railers Elite (5-0-0), the 2010 Assabet Patriots (5-0-0), and the 2010 Vermont Jr. Catamounts (5-0-1) who all finished at the top of their divisions. The 2012 Jr. Railers defeated the Boston Jr. Terriers, the South Shore Kings, the Providence HC, the Bay State Breakers, and the PAL Jr Islanders on their way to a 5-0-0 weekend. The 2010 Assabet Patriots beat the CP Dynamo, the Yale Jr. Bulldogs, the Jersey Hitmen, the NJ Colonials, and the Team Maryland to complete the 5-0-0 weekend.  The 2010 Jr. Cats took down the Boston Jr. Eagles, the Philadelphia Revolution, the NJ Jr. Titans, the 95 Giants, and the East Coast Wizard and tied the PAL Jr. Islanders to finish 5-0-1.

Other E9 teams that had a strong showing at the Boston Breakout included: 

The 2010 East Coast Wizard went (4-1-0), the 2011 Vermont Jr. Cats (3-0-0), the 2011 Valley Jr. Warriors (3-1-1), the 2011 Boston Americans (3-1-0), the 2012 Assabet Patriots (3-1-1), the 2012 Boston Americans (3-1-1), and the 2014 Jr. Thunderbirds (4-1-0).

These teams all turn to league play this weekend and look to build on their success from the weekend.
