BHL teams bring home hardware over the MLK weekend

The Boston Hockey league would like to congratulate the 2010 Elite Boston Jr. Bruins and the 2008 Boston Jr. Rangers on winning their respective tournaments over the MLK weekend. 

The 2010 Boston Jr. Bruins played in the MLK Freeze tournament where they went 5-1-1 on the weekend. A key victory on the weekend was a 3-2 win over the Providence Hockey Club in the Quarter Finals. They also defeated the NE Stars, York Devils and tied the Red Bank Generals. The team went on to beat the Assabet Patriots 2-1 in the Semi finals and Casco Bay 3-1 in the Finals.  

2008 Boston Jr. Rangers traveled down to Tampa, Florida for the MyHockeyTournament Winter Escape. The team had a perfect 5-0 sweep in the tournament! The Jr. Rangers defeated OCHC, Jr. Lightning and the Vipers in round robin play. In the semi finals, they defeated the Jr. Lightning 6-3. In the finals, The Jr. Rangers pulled out the victory after very close games against The Raptors. The Jr. Rangers won 6-5 in overtime to bring their medals back up north.
