The Boston Hockey League would like to congratulate the Seacoast Spartans 2008 Elite on winning the Lake Placid International Tournament this past weekend.  

The Seacoast Spartans 2008 Elite’s went 4-0-1 on the weekend. They shut out the SRI Jr. Rams 2-0 to open up the tournament.  They then defeated the Northern Berkshire Black Bears 6-1 in the second game. In the third game, they tied the SRI Jr. Rams in a high scoring 5-5 game. In the Semi-Finals, the Spartans were victorious over the Rampo Saints with a final score of 4-2. In the championship, the Spartans had the upper hand with an 8-2 win over the Buffalo Saints. The Spartans offense catapulted them to the Lake Placid International Tournament championship. They averaged 5 goals a game with 25 goals scored through the 5 games play.
